Tofo Fishing Adventures, situated on the beautiful Tofo and Barra stretch of coastline in Inhambane Province, Mozambique, is a professional sport fishing operation that specialises in big game as well as recreational fishing.

As this coastline offers some of the most spectacular sport fishing in the world, Tofo and Barra is ideal for fishermen who enjoy a variety of fishing techniques from fly fishing, to light tackle lure fishing, surf fishing and deep-sea sport fishing.

With its deep Mozambican channel fed by the strong north-to-south Mozambican current, it harbours some of the world’s most exciting game and bill fish species like black, blue and striped marlin, sailfish, wahoo, dorado, various tuna species, king and queen mackerel, kingfish, queenfish, barracuda and snappers are all found here.

Both recreational and specialised fisherman are increasingly lured to these waters to try their hand at catching marlin, sailfish GT’s, dogtooth and yellow-fin tuna – a testament to the diversity of smaller game fish that are a light tackle fisherman’s dream.
