This luxury Guest House, CASA DO MAR, is proudly owned by Jakkie & Daphne Massyn. They are also the owners of a nearby holiday house, CASA JAKKIE. The guest house is situated on the main beach in Tofo appr. 20km from Inhambane, Mozambique. Jakkie & Daphne were both in the banking industry for several years before they started their own business in the motor trade which they ran for the past 18 years. Jakkie is a keen fisherman and also does fishing charters for guests in the guesthouse boat.The boat, MASTER JACK, is fully equipped for game and billfish.CASA DO MAR Guest house is a three storey building on the main beach and offers spectacular views of the main beach right up to Barra Point. The Guest House offers 7 luxurious ensuite bedrooms. These bedrooms are all ensuite and air conditioned.The sundeck and swimming pool area offers guests privacy and the opportunity to relax and soak up the sun while listening to the sea. Enjoy a drink from the Guest House Bar overlooking the ocean where whales and dolphins are a regular sight.

 

We have a FULL TIME CHEF and our menu offers a variety of meals including favorites such as Sushi, fresh fruit salad and seafood platters. We gladly cater for any special dietary preferences such as vegetarians, kindly inform the chef!

 

DSTV and Movies are available in the main lounge. The second floor of the Guest House offers an additional room where guests can read and relax. An ice machine ensures a sufficient supply of ice. In case of a power failure we have a 63 KVA generator for back up.
